If you respect the recommended slope for the installation, cleaning and mantaining the floor will be quite easy. However, the floor must be cleaned frequently due to environmental factors that leave their mark.
Watermarks are natural and easy to remove. Rainwater and “night time moisture” trickle down the material and drag small particles of dirt. When they are dry, they become visible. This phenomenon diminishes over time, but it is not possible to avoid.
To clean your deck, you should initially use a dry brush to remove the visible dirt, followed by cleaning it with water and a brush.
The products supplied by TIMBERDEX are made with a high content of natural raw materials and as such, the variation of tonality in a pavement is something natural, desirable and reflects the real look of natural wood. The color fading of composite occurs in the first 10 to 12 weeks of exposure, after which time the discoloration will be minimal.
